Missouri State Highway Patrol and St. Louis County police took over security near the Ferguson Police Department Thursday night after two officers were wounded by gunfire outside police headquarters in this city torn by racial unrest. U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder sharply condemned the shootings of police Wednesday night as a “disgusting and coward attack.”
