Hi! I’m Brandie Kramer.

Hey there! My name is Brandie Kramer (née Piper), and I’m a brand and social marketing manager at KSDK, the NBC affiliate in St. Louis. Since 2015, I’ve also had a side hustle as an adjunct instructor at University of Missouri – St. Louis. Currently, I teach COMM 3370 – Social Media in Public Relations.

At KSDK, I work with the entire promotions team to create engaging, shareable content that promotes our people, their stories, and our stations. I also assist individual employees to help bolster their social media presence, create graphics that are used on-air and online, write promotional scripts, manage the stations internal and public relations messaging, and a wide variety of other tasks that are too numerous to mention here.

Before accepting my current role at KSDK, I was digital news writer for the station, covering everything from the tragic Joplin tornado to the Boston Marathon bombings to the unrest in Ferguson. I published original stories, videos, and photos daily on KSDK.com.

Nationally, my work has been featured on USAToday.com and on the front page of the paper’s print edition. My work on the unrest in Ferguson was sourced on MSNBC’s “The Rachel Maddow Show.”

For two years I worked as a digital writer at Monsanto Co., (now Bayer), creating high-quality, shareable, and engaging content for the company’s digital properties. I connected the stories to Monsanto’s role in agriculture. I also worked to re-write Monsanto.com to make science easier for consumers to understand.

Hi there!
