ST. LOUIS — A winning Powerball ticket worth $202.6 million was sold in Missouri, Missouri Lottery officials announced Monday.
The ticket for Saturday’s drawing was sold at Gateway News inside Union Station in downtown St. Louis. The ticket holder has not yet come forward, officials said.
The winning numbers were: 9, 19, 33, 38 and 54, with a Powerball number of: 15. The winner has until May 7 to claim the prize at the Missouri Lottery headquarters in Jefferson City.
Lottery officials suggest that the winning ticket holder immediately signs the back of the ticket, keep it in a safe place, and get professional tax and legal advice before claiming the prize.
The owner of Gateway News will receive $50,000 for selling the ticket.
This is the fifth-largest jackpot in Missouri Lottery history.
According to Powerball, the odds of winning the grand prize was 1 in 175.2 million.
